The basis of OBO's design philosophy is to allow free and natural movement. OBO Robo leg guards have been designed to enable the goalie to move quickly and naturally. The evenly curved shape achieves maximum control of rebound off the face of the leg guard. The shape of the guard completely encases the leg. Kickers feature large "sweet spot" and plastic inserts to protect and dissipate
ball impact. The ultimate in flexible protection for top-level goalkeepers.
OBO foam is specially designed with a much tighter cell structure than the foam that other companies use. Tighter cells compact less on impact and create a much stronger piece of foam than large, loose cells. For goalies, tighter cells mean that OBO foam goalie gear lasts much longer and maintains a consistently high level of rebound over time.
